There are still ways to get some volunteering work done while in quarantine! Here are some useful resources we've compiled to help you with this:
1) Translator without Borders
This is what they're looking for in volunteers.
TRANSLATOR VOLUNTEERS -- you can volunteer if you are fluent in at least one language other than your native language. Whether you are interested in translating medical texts or translating for crisis response, there are engaging projects available to suit all preferences. Click here to complete the Translator Application Form
OTHER VOLUNTEER -- roles such as project manager, graphic or web page designers and fundraising are also very valuable to us. Click here to see what volunteer projects we are looking for support on.

2) Crisis Text Line
Important note -- this is only for students in the United States!
You will train for 30 hours at no cost to become a Crisis Counselor, but after this you must commit to volunteering for 4 hours per week (as a sort of pay-off for the training). This is a truly great and motivating activity to do, where you can make a real impact on the lives of people. It also demonstrates superb leadership, empathy and communication.
